Ayman is a Special Education Specialist working at the Ministry of Education. He has experience in education, health and accountancy. He is currently responsible in following up on students with physical disabilities; ensuring that they receive the best education experience through-out their years of study.
Ayman had the opportunity to work closely with private education institutions to evaluate and monitor their educational programs designated for students with special needs. Additionally, he has worked in the private sector as an Accountant and he is still pursuing his CPA.
Ayman enjoys playing table tennis, reading, and enjoys new challenges and experiences. Ayman holds a bachelor’s in occupational therapy from Queen Margaret University (UK) and a bachelor’s in accounting and finance from Ahlia University.
Ayman AlAnsari works at the Governance and Enterprise Architecture Directorate in the Information & eGovernment Authority (iGA), where he supervises Government-wide IT governance. Ayman has managed national systems, and has contributed in devising policies and standards for IT procurements, projects and hiring across the government. He is experienced in policymaking and policy reforming, in addition to negotiating and problem solving.
Ayman holds a master’s degree in public management from Aix-Marseille Université, in addition to several professional certificates in the fields of Governance and Information Technology. His interests include politics, economics, statistics, the environment, and sports activities.
Fatema is a Specialist at the Strategic Planning Unit in EWA.
In her role, Fatema supports her department with the implementation of the Government Action Plan by assessing the performance of the authority’s KPIs and their alignment to its goals. Fatema also conducts strategy awareness sessions.
Fatema holds a bachelor’s degree in general management from the New York Institute of Technology, master’s degree in healthcare management from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland, and a second master’s degree in business analysis and strategic management from the University of Manchester.
Her interests include international relations, exploring new cultures, history and, nature.
Hana Al Shakar works at the Ministry of Health’s Overseas Treatment Office, as an Overseas Treatment Specialist. Her responsibilities include data analysis, preparation of reports for the Supreme Committee for Treatment Abroad, facilitation of patient care, and management of the Visiting Doctors program. Her previous experience in event management allowed her to work in several ministries and international organisations.
Hana holds a master’s degree in human resources from DePaul University, and a bachelor’s degree in business management from Bahrain Polytechnic. She enjoys playing golf, kayaking and traveling.
Hassan is an officer at Bahrain’s Labour Fund (Tamkeen). His responsibilities include creating and executing strategic plans to improve the company’s performance through people development programs and initiatives, assisting in developing work force plans, and recommending policies and procedures based on best practices to executive leadership. He is also part of the Social Committee and Equal Opportunities Committee at Tamkeen.
Hassan holds a master’s degree in international relations (with Honors) and a bachelor’s degree in finance from Suffolk University in Boston, USA. He enjoys experiencing different cultures, volunteering, and reading mystery novels.
Khaled works in the Partnerships and Market Engagement Department at Labour Fund (Tamkeen) where he contributes towards a number of projects that aim to develop and promote entrepreneurial activities.
His responsibilities include working on a number of strategic development initiatives, such as Tamkeen’s advisory services that provide business mentoring and coaching. Khaled also works with the relevant stakeholders to promote foreign investments to Bahrain.
Khaled is currently pursuing a doctorate in business administration at Teesside University. He holds a master’s in public relations from Ahlia University and a Bachelor of Engineering from the University of Brighton.
Khaled aspires to contribute towards turning Bahrain into a regional innovation hub. Khaled’s interests are education, music, and arts.
Maryam is a Contract Supervisor in Tatweer’s Supply Chain Management Department, where she negotiates contract terms with potential service providers and bidders. Maryam also focuses on preparing tender documents for a number important services and major development projects in the oil and gas sector. Her financial background and prior work experience in accounting has made her an excellent negotiator in obtaining best offers from bidders.
Maryam holds a master's degree in finance from DePaul University, and a bachelor's degree in banking and finance from the University of Wales. Maryam enjoys reading, writing, traveling and exploring other cultures.
Rehab Al Abbasi works at the Mistry of Foreign Affairs’ Directorate of the Americas and Pacific Affairs, as a Diplomatic Attaché. Her responsibilities include developing strategies to enhance the relations among the Kingdom of Bahrain and countries of the Americas’ and the Pacific, as well as to analyse political and international events.
Rehab holds a bachelor’s degree in mass communication – digital media from the University of Bahrain, and has been awarded the “Abdulla AlZayed” Academic Distinction Prize under the patronage of HRH the Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa. She speaks three languages (Arabic, English, and Turkish), and is passionate about education, visual arts, and foreign languages and cultures.
Mashael is a specialist investigator in the International Cooperation and Development Directorate at the Ombudsman Office where she is pursuing her interest in public international law, specifically human rights. Her work focuses on handling human rights’ complaints submitted to the Ombudsman Office on an international level. She has contributed towards a number of projects, including drafting and preparing annual reports.
Mashael likes to participate and attend a number of seminars, and has been a panel speaker amongst high official participants and attendees.
Mashael holds a Bachelor’s of Law from the Royal University for Women. Her interests include foreign policy, and physical activities.
Noora works at the Public Relations Department of the Court of HRH the Prime Minister, as a Senior Editor. Her responsibilities include coordinating with the press, writing reports and press releases, and providing support for events.
During her tenure at the Court of HRH the Prime Minister, Noora has also worked on initiatives that aim to support ministries develop their goals, including connecting the UN Sustainable Development Goals to the Government Action Plan.
Noora holds a bachelor’s degree in politics and media from SOAS University, London. She writes locally and internationally, and enjoys PR and marketing for business. She advocates for gender equality.
Noor works at Salmaniya Medical Complex, as a Senior Ophthalmology Resident Doctor. In 2018, she completed the Specialty Residency Training Program, obtaining the Arab Board of Medical Specializations in Ophthalmology.
Her work involves diagnosing patients, performing surgical procedures and developing treatment plans for patients with eye disease. Her responsibilities include delivering case presentations for doctors, and planning health promotion and education events for the public. She holds a bachelor’s degree in health sciences and a medical degree from Arabian Gulf University.
Noor is interested in health policy, health awareness and Precision Medicine, as well as traveling, exploring new cultures, motor sports, swimming and boxing.
Sufyan Al Hashel works as a senior auditor for the National Audit Office where he is involved in several audit assignments, including the Bahrain Consolidated Account and the Future Generation Reserve.
Prior to joining the National Audit Office in 2014, Sufyan served as an analyst in the International Cooperation Unit at the Bahrain Defence Force. Sufyan was tasked with conducting quantitative analysis and facilitating coordination between Bahrain’s military and a number of international committees.
Sufyan holds a master’s degree in international political economy and a bachelor’s degree in accounting and finance from Newcastle University and is a Chartered Certified Accountant (ACCA). His interests include politics, history, economics, orientalism and, data analytics.
Wael Al Baqara is a senior supervision analyst at the Financial Institutions Supervision Directorate at the Central Bank of Bahrain. Wael’s day-to-day responsibilities include authorizing and supervising mutual funds and monitoring their compliance with Bahrain’s laws and regulations.
In addition to his daily responsibilities, Wael contributes towards a number of projects, including amending the seventh volume of the Central Bank Rulebook on Collective Investment Undertakings.
Wael holds a master’s degree in finance with distinction from the Kellstadt Graduate School of Business at DePaul University, and a bachelor’s degree in banking and finance with First Class Honors from the University of Wales.
Wael enjoys reading financial articles and partaking in competitive sports.
