The Office of the First Deputy Prime Minister (OFDPM) has announced the end of the registration period for the third edition of the FDPM Fellowship.
Based on the vision of HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister, the unique programme aims to further develop the public sector by investing in training for Bahrain’s national cadre within government, in line with the principles of Bahrain’s Economic Vision 2030.
The registration period to apply for the FDPM Fellowship’s third year, which began on 19 February 2017 and ended on 19 March, saw a substantial number of applications registered through the Fellowship website. The online applications will be assessed during the next few days in preparation for the interview process. The successful applicants will represent the third batch of the FDPM Fellowship, and will start the programme with a prerequisite course at BIPA (Bahrain Institute of Public Administration).
The FDPM Fellowship is an ambitious programme that enriches the experiences of Bahraini nationals working in the public sector, and focuses on honing their skills and training. The programme provides extensive training in leadership, research, analysis, writing reports and policy making, as well as working to implement government programmes associated with the Government Action Plan.
