Following the launch of the second edition of the Government Innovation Competition ‘Fikra’ by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister at the 2019 Government Forum, Fikra today organised a training session to better prepare qualified participants for the next phase of the competition.

The next phase will require participants to pitch their innovations to an evaluation committee responsible for selecting the finalists.

The training session, which was organised in coordination with Babson College and Bahrain Institute of Public Administration, aims to improve the presentation and pitch skills of participants responsible for the 40-qualified innovations selected through rigorous assessments.

Fikra accelerates development through a citizen-centred approach that is participatory and sustainable in addition to fostering a culture of innovation in which government employees put forward breakthrough solutions to challenges, in line with Bahrain’s Economic Vision 2030 and the Government Action Plan 2019-2022.
